강은희는 영상의 서사를 통해 현시대의 풍경을 그린다. 송신이라는 디지털 소통, 비가시적인 자본, 난자동결이라는 기술 등, 물리적 세계가 가상화되는 측면에 관심을 두며, 관객을 서사의 차원으로 매개한다. 주로 서사 속 매개자에 의해 이야기가 하나로 꿰어지며, 그들의 안내를 통해 부재한 연결, 관계, 믿음을 봉합하는 시도를 한다. 때로는 특정 장소에 개입해 작업을 펼치며 관객을 여정의 주체로 초대한다.
Eunhee Kang primarily works with videos and site-specific interventions. She explores the virtualization of contemporary life and attempts to mend our relationship with the physical world. She incorporates digital communication, invisible capital, and technologies like egg freezing into the scenarios of her work, guiding the audience into her fictional dimensions. In her narratives, the voices of characters or messengers play a key role, connecting stories and summoning distant connections, relationships, and beliefs.
