하나의 여정처럼 전개되는 스토리텔링에 관심을 두고 있습니다. 이야기는 기술과 자본이 쫓는 미래관을 긍정하지 못하는 데에서 출발합니다. 기술/자본 중심의 방법론이 단절시키는 물리적, 정서적, 생태적 관계들에 집중하고, 이야기라는 가상의 구조 안에서 회복의 방향을 모색합니다. 주로 가깝고 먼 이야기들을 엮어 영상 매체로 펼치고 있으며, 때로는 특정 장소에 개입해 관객을 여정의 주체로 초대합니다.
Eunhee Kang is interested in storytelling that unfolds like a journey. Her story starts from her refusal to embrace a vision of the future shaped by technology and capital. She focuses on the alienation of physical and emotional relationships caused by technology and capital-centered modes of life and seeks to restore these relationships through the fictional framework of storytelling. Her works often involve weaving stories both in proximity and distance into visual media, and on occasion, she expands them into site interventions that invite the audience into the work.
